The buzz of two cities, the Thursday Night Flight Club will fly into Nashville International Airport (KBNA) no later than 0115z. They will then begin to depart KBNA for Chicago, either flying to Chicago Midway Airport (KMDW) or O'Hare International Airport (KORD). The music on Broadway Avenue in Nashville will be missed, but the shops, museums and entertainment on Michigan Avenue will be a welcomed sight as the bright lights welcome our TNFC pilots! To celebrate this event, the Thursday Night Flight Club will be following his story from Denver to Dallas and then to Tulsa! This week, our pilots will have a time-on-target at KDEN no later than 0030z. THIS IS A RESCHEDULED EVENT. Due to a power outage, this flight couldn't be flown during the normally scheduled time. The Thursday Night Flight Club rumbles across the skies of Europe this week as we plan a two-leg flight. The first leg is a time-on-target flight with a rendezvous time of between 0130 and 0200z at Germany’s Hannover International Airport (EDDV) in Langenhagen, Germany. From EDDV, pilots will turn and prepare for the challenging but rewarding “figure 8” approach into Bolzano, Italy at Bolzano Airport (LIPB). They will approach from the south to the VOR then double circle to establish for final on offset runway which is 4,600 feet in length. See the attached chart for reference! The end of summer is near and the #ThursdayNightFlightClub say Bon Voyage to summer 2024 with one last trip in the Caribbean and hello to cooler temps and different autumn flights ahead!
